Postcard from The Philippines
The Philippines is definitely one of those countries where ‘Golden Hour’* comes into play. The light between 4.30 – 5.30pm was just beautiful!

5pm in Giporlos, The Philippines. Golden Hour creates an almost 3D feel to images and shadows are long. Beautiful!
*Just to be confusing ‘Golden Hour’ is actually closer to two hours each day. Generally it is considered to be the first hour after dawn and the last hour before sunset (this means getting up early, something I still struggle with as a photographer!). At these times, when the sun is near the horizon, the light we see travels almost parallel to the land.
