Tapas and Cava: Some Catalan food photography
I do enjoy a bit of food photography when I get the chance (and eating the food of course!). My husband and I have just returned from the wonderful city of Barcelona in Spain. Here are some images of the ever popular tapas dishes and some tasty rose Cava.
With thanks to the fantastic Tapas Tours of Barcelona for finding me some tasty treats to eat and photograph.

Tapas can take many forms and I love eating these beautifully prepared snacks (This tapas dish was lovingly prepared at Maitea, one of the busier Tapas bars in Barcelona)

Tapas at Maitea is charged by the toothpick! Waiters count the number of picks left on your plate. Generous portions of meats, cheeses, fish, seafood and tapenades piled on to chunks of bread speared with a toothpick.
These dishes look amazing! Traveling to Spain is definitely on my list of things to do!

Thanks Lana and will check out your blog too. Barcelona is very different to any other part of Spain and well worth seeing (it would not define itself as part of Spain either!). The food was yummy
Beautiful photos 🙂
Sighhh. Your photos make me want to go back. I don’t think I found enough tapas bars 😦
Doing the Tapas Tour was a really good way to find places I am not sure we would have found on our own.
I’ll keep that in mind thanks.
Ahh just like I remember them!
