Berlin Wall – alternative take.
I am currently in Berlin.
The Berlin Wall, the wall that once divided East from West, has been photographed so many times. Here is my different take on things. These images were shot from a Trabi (old East German car) window and represent the blurring lines of history and modernity. As people scurry by a wall in the rain that once stood for so much the wall instead becomes part of the tourist route in one of Germany’s finest cities. This is not my usual style of photography but I am enjoying being here in Berlin with no agenda and just experimenting. I will possibly look back at these and question what I was even doing with these images… but for now I like them! We should have more fun with our photography!
